Fall has come to Bozeman, Montana. Unlike most days around here, it has been WET.
Plenty of rain. And I like it. A lot.
Though it is slightly bittersweet, as this weather immediately brings me back to Ukraine.
Temperatures in the 60’s, overcast, rainy. Nearly every day in Ukraine was just as it is in Montana now.
On top of it, today, October 1, is the one year anniversary of our DAP appointment. This was the appointment where we got to see Paul’s file and request to go meet him.
We took this photo…
Not too flattering, but still our cute little guy.
We also took these photos…
Oh how it makes me want to take to the streets of Kiev!
Truth be told, it’s not the city, or the country, really, that makes me want to go back.
It’s the children. The ones who are unloved, forgotten, hidden.
The children need us to take to their streets, to enter their orphanages, to carry them out.
Pray that the Holy Spirit stirs in our hearts. Pray that we ask Jesus what he wants of us, and that we can be brave and respond..
